| Description: | We are searching for a candidate with excellent observation and auditing skills to be a team player in our Quality department.

| Duties: | Job Function:
- Collect units from line after they have been cleaned before they are shipped out.
- Ensure that all functionality issues reported by the customer on the traveler match up with what has been repaired.
- Check to see that the unit has not sustained any damage during the repair process.
-Check the serial number on the box to ensure shipping address matches the box and the traveler.
- Inspect packaging to make certain it is secure and that the box is in good condition.
- Match up customer accessories with the right computer
- Ensure all items the customer sent in are together in the package when it is returned.
-Use leadership ability to ensure line quality through encouragement to others regarding following company rules and procedure such as reminding co-workers to wear smocks while on the line, etc.
- Consult support and then engineers when there is a failure that has not been addressed.

| Qualifications: | General Requirements:
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions precisely.
- Have working knowledge of OS software, both Windows and Mac.
- Must be able to use a computer proficiently.
- Minimum high school education.
- Prefer someone with prior QA experience, preferably as an auditor in a contract manufacturing environment for electronic component assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Must have excellent visual acuity and good hearing
- Must be able to read and write English and follow instructions written in English.
- When an issue is found must have good follow up skills to ensure problem is corrected.
- Able to lift up to 20lbs. |
