| Description: | PCS-CTS is a leading global provider of support and repair services for many of the world’s largest computer and electronic manufacturers. Our core business includes warranty computer notebook repair and parts fulfillment. PCS was founded in 1987 and CTS in 1992. We have operations in the U.S. (California, Texas and New Hampshire), China, Singapore, and Europe.
We are looking for bright, quick individuals to diagnose problems, troubleshoot units and order the appropriate parts to make the necessary repairs for our Apple notebook repair line. Technicians will receive two-three weeks of paid formal training and will then be transitioned over to our paid-for-performance compensation plan. |
| Duties: | 1.) Supervise full cycle of computer repair by diagnosing problem, suggesting solutions and testing repaired units for problems
2.) Run tests on units to diagnose computer problems using the Apple Service Diagnostic Software (ASD)
3.) Compare findings with the customer’s reported problem and advice of failures found
4.) Constantly communicate and interact with rework employees to ensure successful and efficient repair of units
5.) Order parts using the Great Plane Software
6.) Hand out units and documentation to rework personnel for repair
7.) Ensure units are being sent to test
8.) Identify cosmetic defects
9.) Convey information to both supervisors and rework employees

| Qualifications: | Position Requirements
1) High School Diploma or Equivalent
2) Computer training diploma preferred
3) 1 year of experience assembling /disassembling, testing, trouble shooting and repairing computers
4) Experience using hand power tools preferred
5) Must be able to speak, read and write English
6) Advanced knowledge of computer hardware
7) Must be able to multi task
8) Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
9) Must be detailed oriented
